K.K. Gupta - Partner

Mr. K.K. Gupta has more than 30 years of experience in Statutory, Tax & Internal Audits, M&A due-diligence and corporate restructuring. He has been involved in numerous high-profile M&A transactions for his clients where he was responsible for conducting due-diligence on behalf of his clients both domestic as well as internationally.

Mr. Gupta is an expert in Audit and Assurance, Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Design and Implementation of Internal Controls, Business Process Systematization and Re - engineering, representing clients before various authorities including RBI, DGFT, SEBI, Registrar of Companies under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, etc., Secretarial Compliance, drafting of strategic documents, settlements, Tax planning, Assessment and Litigation proceedings before various authorities from assessing officers, commissioners up to Tribunal, Business Valuation, Corporate and Financial Structuring, Business Plans, Strategies and Project Appraisals.

Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree and is also a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Shiva Nishad - Partner

Shiva Nishad joined Krishan Rakesh & Co. as an Audit Manager in 2018 where he led the audit team in various assurance assignments. As a reward for his hard-work and sheer dedication towards the firm and its assignment, post qualification, he was appointed as a partner in June 2020.

Shiva has expertise in internal & statutory audit. He has a vast knowledge in IND-AS and is a key member in the team involved in IND-AS Compliant Statutory Audit.

Shiva is an expert in Goods & Service Tax. He is responsible for providing GST consultation and review for the clients of the firm. He is actively involved in representing the client before the GST Authorities.

Shiva holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is also an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a holder of Diploma in Information System Audit from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Arun Gupta - Partner Emeritus

An experienced professional into Indirect Tax and IND-AS advisory with a unique experience of having worked in industry (manufacturing and services) and consulting, Arun had helped several MNC and Indian companies manage change requirements in strategies and processes in finance, tax and IT triggered by various business, legal, commercial and accounting policy changes. He was a specialist in conceptualizing innovative ERP and designing customized applications.

Arun was an indirect tax and IFRS consultant for companies across different sectors having helped clients on impact assessment, implementation support and IT customization, providing a complete hand holding till final implementation of recommendations.

Arun held a Bachelors of Commerce degree and was also a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, fellow member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and Diploma in IFRS from Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.

Nikhil Gupta - Director, Direct Tax Advisory, Business Advisory & GCC VAT

Nikhil Gupta has vast experience in the area of internal control compliance, private equity advisory, M&A advisory and business advisory across sectors. His notable experience was with S.R. Batliboi & Associates (network firm of EY India) where he has spent more than 3 years performing US GAAP & Indian GAAP statutory audit, SOX Audits, Limited Reviews and US GAAP Conversions of various Indian and Multinational Companies. He has been involved in leading the teams at various locations for performing the internal control compliance and business advisory services across various sectors. His experience includes advising multinational and domestic clients on Mergers & Acquisitions, Compliance under various laws like Companies Act, Income Tax Act and GST, Effective controls and procedures etc.

Nikhil had been advising clients across various sectors including Healthcare, FMCG, Education, Power and Logistics for executing various M&A transactions which includes cross border transactions in the healthcare industry where he advised a sell side client to liquidate the majority stake in favor of a UAE based healthcare investor. He is also instrumental in implementation and structuring of GCC VAT for various SMEs based in the United Arab Emirates.

Nikhil holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree, Bachelors of Law degree, Master of Law and Masters in Business Administration in Finance.

S. N. Gupta - Advisor, Capital Markets & International GAAP

Mr. Gupta is one of the Exceptionally Qualified Individual in the realm Commerce in India. He is a Commerce Graduate, Chartered & Cost Accountant from India and also possesses almost all Premier Qualification of Commerce such as CPA, CMA, CFM, CISA, CIA, CFSA, CGAP, CCSA and CFE from United States of America. He has over 20 years of rich multi cultural experience in Accounting, Auditing, Costing, Budgeting, MIS Reporting and System Implementation in premier organizations such as AF Fergusons (now part of Deloitte), Ernst & Young, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (IMF Presence in the Middle East) and Central Bank of Oman.

He is also privileged to be associated with the teaching profession for close to two decades mostly with World renowned names such as Becker Conviser USA for CPA. Stall USA for CFA, IMA USA for CMA, PRC Review USA for CIA.

Vinod Kumar Garg - Advisor, Company Law Matters

Mr. Garg has more than 25 years of experience in the field of secretarial services and company law matters. He specializes in conducting Legal Due Diligence, developing Complete Compliance Management System, Corporate Restructuring, FEMA & RBI Compliances, Liasioning with Registrar of Company (ROC), Regional Director, SEBI, RBI, Company Law Board, Official Liquidator etc. He has served more than 100 corporate clients which includes MNCs, PSUs, Corporate Houses and MSMEs.

Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree and is also a member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Vikrant Rohilla - Advisor, Legal

Vikrant Rohilla is legal head at Krishan Rakesh & Co. Prior to this, he was with the legal department of British Telecom, where he advised on various issues arising out of cross border transactions and reviewed and negotiated commercial contracts while making them compliant with policies and best practice procedures of the organization.

His area of expertise mainly focuses on corporate and commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. He has expertise in internal reorganizations and reconstructions. He also advises clients on foreign exchange laws, corporate and regulatory matters and on various commercial contracts in relation to both domestic and cross-border transactions.
